Leaving a group Family is an important decision and can often be undertaken with a degree of difficulty. Once you are removed from the family, you will no longer be a part of it. They can do this through the Family settings in the Microsoft account. If you were added as a “family member” via a different Microsoft account, then you will have to ask the family organizer to remove you from the family. Once you have done that, you will no longer be part of the family.
If you were added as the “family organizer” by signing in with a Microsoft account, then you will need to sign in to the Microsoft account associated with the family and then remove yourself as the family organizer. If you need to remove yourself from a Microsoft Family, the process will depend on how you were added to the family in the first place.
